Shehbaz Sharif , the Former Punjab chief minister has been arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the incident became a hot topic of discussion on the social media within minutes.

The Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly was had been in the news recently for being investigated by NAB and for alleged corruption in numerous government projects such as the Ashiana Housing Scheme and Saaf Pani Scheme.
But according to a Dawn News report, Shehbaz recently got arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) at its Lahore office in the Rs14 billion Ashiana-i-Iqbal Housing Scheme case. According to sources, three files were tabled before him.

The former chief minister has been accused of providing illegal contracts to his favorite firm.
The news regarding his arrest was confirmed by PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb and Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan, Punjab Information Minister
